Tell-A-Friend about this Blog, it may be the best news they hear all day!

2007 Views: The response to the Fat Loss Study has brought up a lot of interest in what my business is all about. Here it is in a nutshell, because there still is some confusion out there about who I work for, and what I all do with my business at TRF Racquetball.
1. I am fully independent of the Racquetball Club with my business, and my services are seperate from a Racquetball Club membership, meaning that you can do my programs and not have to worry about any additional membership fees. I simply rent the space out to implement my services there.
2. I no longer work for, or at, any other fitness centers in Thief River Falls, as I'm exclusively at the TRF RBC. When I first moved to Thief River Falls, I worked for the hospital as an employee, and implemented services for their fitness center & sports performance training programs.
People came to know me initially when they visited the center, and wanted a training program designed for them. I rapidly became known as the only fitness trainer in town, and the anemities of the center at that time made it a really 'hot place' to come & workout. This situation however led me to a lot of burnout of my duties, as I was juggling reception work, orientations &the associated scheduling of them, plus setting up training appointments, and handling the sports performance duties, too. We had 600 members before I left, and it was a lot to try and manage as a multi-purpose trainer of many different needs. Just handling membership concerns alone was a big task in itself.
Because of this burnt-out feeling, I felt I needed a fresh take on my career to really be bold, be brave, and dare to take on the world as my own training business for fitness and sports performance.
The time came for me to claim my independence.
I resigned from that position in January '06 to fully begin my business in February. It took me until March to get my work agreement setup with the City of TRF to conduct my training at the Ralph Engelstad Arena. This agreement lasted until August 25th, when I exercised my clause to end the contract there.
3. I moved to the TRF Racquetball Club to benefit my training services and shift the focus to a 30 minute workout format. The club was a better fit for my new focus, as well as making my services more accessible for more hours with my clientele. The courts of the facility also created a feel of a "mini sports arena" for my athlete clientele.
Simply, its "Xpress Exercise for Every Body".
A 30 minute focus on workout duration for today's busy lifestyles.
So, in short, I work for myself, pay rent to the Racquetball Club, and don't work anywhere else in town.
I am here for you, my clients and customers, to serve your needs. Unlike a regular fitness center operation, I'm not worried about a large number of memberships, I'm more concerned with the quality and overall strategy that you put forth into your training, whether for fitness or for sports. I have no one above me.
Its why I've created a new Unlimited Training monthly service for my clients. A system was needed to ensure that you'd have:
1. Accountability for your workouts
2. No worries about how many sessions you have, since you already have enough to worry about in your life
3. A built-in motivation system within your strength training protocol to track progress & success more easily
4. A strength training protocol that focuses on the 6 basic fundamental movements of YOUR machine, your body.
5. A speed/agility protocol that is both innovative and highly effective for power development, using simple tools like kettlebells, jump ropes, hurdles, & cones. A monthly format enables you to choose just how long you want to commit to your training, in 1, 3, 6, or 12 month long commitments.
Everyone's different, so you need some options in life.
I provide those options. Call me if you are ready to get serious about your training for 2007.
Why?
Because 2007 isn't going to wait for 'the right time'. You have to make THE RIGHT TIME. The Right Time to Exercise, The Right Time to Prepare, The Right Time to Achieve your Goals and stop making excuses about why you can't workout on a treadmill in your basement, or why you had to waste hundreds of dollars in the past on a fitness center membership you didn't know how to utilize to the fullest. My services combine the best of fitness center flexibility, with the support & direction you need from a trusted fitness & sports performance professional, one that studies each & every day for better training methods & techniques for his clients.
All in a semi-private setting, away from the fears of 20-30 people staring at you or glancing at you, which steers you away from focusing on your efforts. When you make time, you earn what you put into your efforts.
Just because a place is open any time of the day, or for most hours of the week, doesn't mean you're going to fully take advantage of it. Why? Because all that flexibility turns it into less of a priority for you. You think in the back of your head "Yeah, I'll go there, as soon as this thing gets done", and, as you know, you never go there. "Next Time", you think. "Next Time" never comes because you don't make a dependent need for it. If you start putting a time & money value to your workout visit & attendance, because your overall progress through the system depends on your attendance & effort, wouldn't you be more than 99% likely to get to your training session you scheduled? How does 100% look?
Mighty darn good if you ask me...
Take a tip from athletes who train consistently: they have the end-goal in sight, of performing better for their team or for their individual performance goals. When it matters ,(as your health should), you make it matter. One of my clients is an up & coming cyclist in the state of Minnesota. He's placed high in local races, and has even raced down by the Twin Cities, against the 'big dogs' of cycling. He's currently doing a split workout routine with me, by doing a workout at the college, as well as a core & upper body workout with me individually. He hasn't missed a single workout, because he doesn't make excuses, he makes the time & puts forth the effort. Are you tough enough? Do you have what it takes to get ahead in 2007 and into the best health your body's ever felt? Ponder that for a while, and get to me before someone else does, before THEY take your spot. I can only handle so many clients with my training system, my projected math has me at about 25 fitness clients and 15 athletes, tops, when they get started in my system.
That's a pretty limited number of people who can take advantage of such a system.
To give you an indication of how exciting just the STAR System is, I had a client get started on it this week, after he read about it in some emails I sent him. He was so raring to go, he had his checkbook open & ready to pay before he even filled out the initial consultation paperwork, before his first testing session.
Now, THAT'S excitement, and that's a definite commitment in-hand.
All for a program that's going to deliver exactly what he was seeking: flexible scheduling, 30 minute workouts, and a complete support system of phone calls & guidance on nutrition, too. If he's that excited after just a couple emails, imagine the excitement when Christmas is over, and everyone starts putting New Year's Resolutions in full-force on their minds. The STAR System will be just what they need for many of them, who finally want to get in the best shape they can be.
