Greetings,
Wow! What a busy & fast week it was for me, over these
past few days. I have a lot of things in the works, so
without further ado, let's get to all of it in this
special update:
1. WorkoutPass.com is launching on the 23rd! Fitness
internet pioneer Ryan Lee is THE man when it comes to
delivering high quality websites for personal trainers &
sports performance coaches. Honestly, I think he's outdone
himself on this latest project, WorkoutPass.com. This
project is so big, it was all set to get ready to launch
back on January 9th, but it had to be pushed to the 23rd,
in order to be fully sure that there's no bugs or kinks
in this new site. Essentially, WorkoutPass.com is a series
of websites with tons of workouts, from some of the biggest
names in the fitness & sports performance industry. As a
professional in both fields, I know many of these names from
using Ryan's websites as a networking tool for my business
and career growth. These are the top-notch trainers who are
making a difference, and they are providing thousands of
their effective workouts, online, through this project.
You can sign up for first-line access to when the site is
officially launched, giving you an opportunity to register
ASAP with a notice that they will send you.
(Yours truly has an entire program involved in this product
launch, as part of over $1600 worth of freebies for the
first 1000 people who register when WorkoutPass.com is
launched!)
Please visit this link: http://workoutpass.com/endure1
Go there to sign up to get on the Early Bird list, which
will let you be the first to know when Workoutpass.com is
ready for registration!
Just one more note: this website is being promoted to over
5 million people (yes, that many!), and the $1600 in bonuses
will go to the first 1000 of those who register on opening
day, the 23rd. Visit http://workoutpass.com/endure1 today!
2. "Power & Control for Sports" DVD is launched today!
If you've visited http://tips.speeddialcoach.com 's site
recently, you have noticed how on January 20th, I planned
to launch my Power & Control DVD. This was to coincide with
another product launch of a major basketball training
manual, being produced by Trainer Rali Todd in Florida. Rali
told me that the date had to be pushed back to February now.
But, that doesn't mean I have to wait that long to launch
my DVD, since I already had it ready to go by today, the 20th.
Now, you can order your very own DVD copy of this new,
time-saving workout. "Power & Control for Sports" is a DVD
unlike any other sports performance video out there.
Where other videos focus on a host of speed/agility drills,
(and sometimes bore you to death, as you can't remember all
those names of the drills to go with the actions), there
isn't a true focus on what I call Power & Control.
Power & Control are 2 components missing in most athletic
conditioning programs. Everyone advertises "Speed", but
without control for all that power, speed is useless, and
sometimes can be dangerous if you don't know how to use it!
I just had this talk with a coach I was sitting next to at
our local girls basketball team's game. We were discussing
how many of the girls just 'flop & fly' out there, as they
try to pass, catch, and shoot the ball, or even just getting
back on defense.
I told him how I have observed top performers from the rest
of the pack, and the things I notice that top performers have
in common, over their competitive counterparts, is this:
They simply have more control for their power production.
They know how to stop, cut, turn, absorb & redirect force.
Absorbing & redirecting force is a critical component for
any sport, because the human body does this on a constant
basis: from hitting a ball, to tossing one, to catching one.
Force is absorbed & redirected. Yet many coaches fail to
see this, and keep on training athletes to 'get faster',
and wonder why all these fast kids keep on turning the
ball over, or can't get position for a rebound any more.
My feeling is they don't know how to control themselves
under chaotic conditions.
And that's what the Kettlebell Swing, the heart & soul
of my Power & Control for Sports DVD, does for athletes.
It teaches Control Under Chaos, as many trainers have
witnessed in its athletic applications.
Since I began full-time training on my own in March of 2006,
the kettlebell swing exercise has been the "What the Heck"
exercise of my career. I simply am impressed how this lone
exercise has helped me create 2 All-American football
players, and many top area athletes who've worked with me
over the spring, summer & fall.
Why does the swing work its magic so well? I think it gets
you deep into the true 'athletic stance', and teaches the
body to fire its muscles correctly for power production.
It's this proper firing & activation that truly helps
each athlete learn 'control', right alongside developing
power production capacity.
I've had one athlete double her endurance time with a
kettlebell swing test (1:25 to 3 full minutes) and get a
higher pounds/second rating!
I've trained kids on a treadmill for 5 of my 7 years of
training now, using it for speed development. Honestly, I
will not lie and say that it works, but I often thought
there's still something 'missing' in the puzzle of that
training method. Kids got faster, but they still looked
like they couldn't quite stop, turn, and control their
body as well as I thought they could.
When I discovered kettlebells and started to apply the
simple KB Swing to my own workouts, I found that 'piece'
I was looking for.
In Power & Control for Sports, I only take up 10 minutes
of your precious time, showing you the basics on the simple
Kettlebell Swing exercise. If you don't have a kettlebell,
I also demonstrate the exercise done with a dumbbell.
You will feel this exercise's effectiveness right away.
Then, I take you back to the basics of the world's first
true 'cross-trainer', the jump rope. Lost in the shuffle of
today's high tech speed gadgets, the jump rope makes a
triumphant return to the forefront, as I show everyone how
they can combine the jump rope, kettlebell, and a simple
countdown timer watch into one of the most effective, time
efficient workouts out there: the Tabata Turbo Circuit!
The TTC is the 'staple' of my Athlete Xpress System, and
has been working wonders for many. Now, you'll gain top
secret advice that I only give to my athletes I train.
The best thing about this DVD is that it will not break
your budget. For the cost of only $15, you can have
Power & Control for Sports sent to you, with no extra
shipping charges at all! I charge up to $77 for a full
month of unlimited 30 minute sessions for my athletes,
so this is a real bargain. You'll also get my TIPS guide
that showcases the Power & Control circuit, as a bonus.

"Power & Control for Sports" DVD!
